Archives section

The documents that the clerical work completed as a result of the activities of the structures, divisions and sections of the university have been kept in the archives of the Azerbaijan University of Languages from 1948 to 2016.

According to the regulation, the section implements the maintenance of the archival documents in accordance with the requirements of the existing legislation, the creation of the calculation records of the documents, ensuring its succession with the system of scientific-information apparatus of the state archive and  forming use of documents. It also carries out the functions of submitting the annual sections of the archive lists of permanent and long-lasting documents that have been completed by the clerical work and submitting them to the expert commission and the expert-inspection commission of the relevant state archive. At the same time, the archive section accepts permanently and long-term documents that have been executed in the structural units of the University no later than 3 years based on the lists and acts prepared in accordance with the archive rules, conducts inquiries of organizations and socio-legal applications of citizens, gives copies of documents and archive references.
