THE CRIME COMMITTED BY ARMENIAN DASHNAKS AGAINST AZERBAIJAN WILL NOT REMAIN UNPUNISHED
This requirement was sounded again in remembering ceremony connected with 16th anniversary of Khojali tragedy held at Azerbaijan University of Languages.
The chief of the Youth Organization Shahin Ismayilov opened the remembering ceremony of the 16th anniversary of Khojali tragedy held in the conference hall of educational building 2 of AUL, on February 25, 2008 and notified that 16 years before a bloody page had been written in the history of Azerbaijan by Armenian dashnaks. The ancient Azerbaijan city Khojali was demolished completely by armed Armenian dashnaks at the midnight of February 25, infants, girls and women, old women, men were killed by never seen wildness. The houses were robbed and fired, peaceful residents were burned alive, their eyes were pulled out and their heads were cut off, 613 Azerbaijanis were killed ruthlessly, 56 people were burned alive, 1000 people were made invalid and 1270 people were captivated, 6 families were completely demolished, 150 people were lost and there has been no information on their destiny.
Then the video views indicating Armenian brutality were demonstrated. The sobbing of the student were spread in the hall when the views indicating the girls whose stomachs were riddled, head skin was stripped off, the men whose eyes were pulled off, body of the children were beheaded.
Vice-rector on Humanitarian Matters Aladdin Aliyev compared Khojali massacre with Khatun tragedy and notified that the Khojali massacre was not a crime committed only to Azerbaijanis, but a historical crime committed to all humanity. World community shall estimate the Khojali tragedy from political point of view and the criminals shall be properly punished.
The persons who spoke were the assistant professor Khanahmad Ibrahimov, poet-translator Yusif Savalan,head of psychology on department, professor Mukhtar Hamzayev, student of the faculty of European study and international relations Sabuni Karimov noted that identification of the wild actions committed by Armenian chauvinists in Khojali committed by them at the beginning of the century showed that their aim was to abolish Azerbaijanis and Turkish people and to occupy the new territories and they didn't intend to leave their insidious purposes. It was noted that, our people was face to face with fraud, insidious enemy trying to privatize our history and music and we shall always be vigilant and supply whole world with realities. Armenian dashnaks who are trying to occupy the territories of Azerbaijanis and Turks by abolishing whereas they are maliciously good skiifully demonstrating themselves as oppressed and poor people.
Assistant professor Kh.Ibrahimov addressed to the youth and said: "Each Azerbaijani shall unite as a fist for liberating our land from enemy and supply the world with the real essence of genocide policy carried out by Armenian dashnaks against Azerbaijan. We may defeat our insidious and fraud enemy in this way."
The appeal addressed to the international organizations and diplomatic corpuses in Baku in English, Germany and French.
